Nothing on Earth will last. All nations will some day fall. Our Sun will grow bigger and hotter, wiping away all that is on this planet. What lasts forever? What wisdom will future humans take with them to the stars? What memories will last for billions of Earth years?
All things on Earth are full of vanity, pride, foolishness, and chasing after the wind. What does it profit a human to toil with both hands and lose it all at death? What about peace of mind? What about love and happiness? To gain endless wealth, possessions, material things, fame, power, and money will not be anything great, good, or everlasting. Face the reality that your life will not be remembered here on Earth. All memories will fade given enough time.
Humanity will have to colonize other planets and live in spaceships. It is our future.
Individual lives will not be remembered in any great detail. Your only hope is in heaven, or in an afterlife.
There is some good evidence now that consciousness continues on after the brain is dead. Although it is all a mystery. What is after death in great detail? Who can truly claim to know for certain?

We also need to protect and value the beautiful life we have on Earth, while it does last. It is a wonderful planet, with many species. It is our duty to keep Earth wild and free in many places, and to protect natural areas as parks and wilderness preserves.
Humanity can do better with great innovations, new energy sources, a better economic system, fulfilling work for more, and less waste of time, energy, human life, and materials. We need thriving towns, cities, and no more poverty. We need to grow, inspire, and teach our kids well. The future is in robotics, automation, space travel, greenhouses, and prosperity for all.
Our time here, now, is to help the next generations make the next step, where we left off. We have a long way to go before we are no longer fully dependent upon this one planet. There are great dangers ahead as well. We must not pollute and destroy this planet with wars, disease, greed, and destruction. Humanity can do greater things. We need vision. We need better leaders. We need inspirational speakers.
Too many humans have great pride and foolish desires. Fame and wealth will not bring anything everlasting.
Wisdom alone will endure for all time, that is living and alive within the minds of future humans.
The Divine First Cause alone is by definition everlasting, perfect, eternal, and unchanging. All that humans do on this Earth will be wiped away, but we refuse to see this. We are vain creatures. All material things and places on this planet will not be remembered. Given enough time, your life will be forgotten. What can you gain that is material? What is immaterial? Mathematics? What is discovered, over and over again, anywhere in the universe? What is universal? What is timeless, permanent, immortal, and eternal?
Generations of humans will need to work towards a greater civilization, that goes beyond all the petty wars and politics on this planet. We are pathetic in so many ways. So small and foolish for desiring great fame, power, and money. What great human goals must we have? What is our destiny? What is our future?
We need great works of art and writing that we can take with us beyond this planet. There is no time for endless writing and countless books, so only the best and greatest books are needed. There are only so many hours of life per human. We have less than a million hours of life to live, per person. We cannot do it all individually. One cannot read all that there is know. Time is limited.
Humanity needs to develop our inner world to a greater degree. We are too lost, too vain, and too full of pride. Our greater goals can be about generations of humans, about innovation, about science, and about higher education. What can we accomplish for all time? What will humanity be within this universe?
